(except at 8:00 in the morning of Sundays)
So, we are at Athens,
Interesting situation: When we were living in Athens, we were traveling at Kalamata once per month, for 3-4 days. Those 3-4 days we were every night out, with friends, drinking, having fun etc. Friends knew that we wouldn’t be there next week to go out together, grandparents knew that they wouldn’t see the grandchildren for a month, so were eager to babysit, so all was convenient.
We were never going out in Athens back then. All our friends were very busy, we always could go out another day, we didn’t have babysitting whenever we wanted (grandparents had their own things to do).
When we moved to Kalamata, the situation came the other way round. We are now seeing much more of the night life of Athens that we were seeing when we were living here. Grandparents in ATHENS now want to babysit, friends in Athens now want to see us…
So, we had a great time in a jazz bar (Named “DINKS”= Double Income No Kids), and to finish the night, we started watching a bollywood movie called AANKHEN. The ultimate entertainment!!! in 150 minutes you get action, drama, romance, splatter, musical, superstars and comedy. You really get “All You Want To Know About Cinema But You Were Afraid To Ask”.
We woke up at our friends place at 8:30 (damn us, we are so used to waking up early, that even after staying up till very late, we cannot sleep longer), and drove to my father-in-law’s place. Athens was empty. A very rare sight to see. VERY VERY RARE. No trafic, empty streets, like you are in a science fiction movie. (that GREAT 28 days later).
Have a nice time all of you
